Have you ever noticed that things just sound better and sexier in Spanish?

It could be anything – the words of a song or reading the ingredients off a label. It really doesn’t matter.

But, it makes sense right? After all, it is known as one of the romance languages of the world.

The Latino culture is so rich, fun, colorful and lively – I love it.

I read an article that Hispanics and Latinos are the largest minority in the United States – making up over 17% of the population. They have made a mark on the American lifestyle over the years.

I have been to Miami and Los Angeles – you see the Latin influences everywhere – art, music, restaurants and fashion. It brings color and passion to the American culture. It’s so beautiful.

The Latino-American star power is amazing – in the music, fashion, movie and television industry. Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Carlos Santana, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera and the list goes on.

Jennifer Lopez, who is probably the most popular, has built her own empire. She has become a leading trendsetter in hair, fashion and beauty. When she changes her hairstyle – it becomes news.

Latin Love (1)They also have some of the most beautiful women in the world. Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Gisele Bündchen are some of the most famous and highest paid models in the industry.

Then there is the music.

I have to listen to Latin music everyday – it’s a must. It makes me happy and feel good. The rhythm and the beat just makes you want to move.

I have traveled all over the world and experienced different cultures first hand.

A few years ago I was in Madrid for the International Trend Vision Awards, and I had the opportunity to go and see a soccer game. It was amazing. You could feel the passion and energy as soon as you walked into the stadium.

I got up in the middle of the game to go to the washroom and people actually got mad, because I was blocking their view. Lol. I’ve never experienced anything like it.

I have been to Mexico a couple of times and I always enjoy it. I live for the summer. So, I love spending time in the outdoor markets – talking to all the people and seeing all the cool stuff.

The last time I went – I woke up each morning to paradise.  The night life was amazing too – I found it hard to keep up. The party never stopped. I can’t wait to go back.

Whether it is Los Angeles, Miami, Spain or Mexico – I always return home inspired with new ideas for fashion and hairstyles to share with my team and clients.

You only get one life – live it.

This is why I love the Latino/Hispanic cultures so much. They know how to enjoy and live life. They are so warm and friendly. The vibe they give off is contagious – you can’t help but smile and feel good.

So my advice to you, download some Spanish or Cuban music and start planning your next trip – because everyone needs to experience some Latin love in their lifetime.
