This week, I’m taking a quick look back at the TrendVision Awards.
It’s the hair industries version of haute couture fashion.
For those of you who don’t know, this is an elite hair competition for stylist to show their talent and compete against the best in our industry on a global scale.
Dream with eyes wide open.
I am a strong believer of competition – it allows stylist to grow professionally/personally, as well as, think outside the box. These competitions, allow us to express ourselves as artist – in a different way then we do at the shop everyday with our clients.
The year was 2010. Created by Wella Professionals Global Creative Directors Josh Wood and Eugene Souleiman, the 2010 trends represented all the different sides of a modern woman: urban, modern, self-confident and extroverted.
