In my post Look Good, Feel Good, I wrote about how I help guests choose the right look. I’ve been a hair stylist for over 20 years – through experience and training – I know right away which hairstyle will suit my guest and compliment their facial features. But, I think it’s important for people to understand why a certain haircut will look good on them.
Over the next few weeks I will talk about some different faces shapes and which hairstyles will highlight the features and cover the flaws of each.
Oval Faces: Think of the shape of an upside down egg – your face will have a narrow jaw line/forehead with wider cheek bones.
This is the ideal face shape because you can practically wear any style – short, long, layered, bob, pixie, bangs no bangs. You can use layers to highlight the part of the face you want to show off.
You should avoid any hairstyle that covers the features of your face.
